Typically the at fault party’s insurance company will pay to fix your car.  However, sometimes they attempt to delay payment, and it is sometimes quicker to go through your own insurance if you have collison on your policy.  Any deductible you may have to pay for doing so will be paid back to you from the at fault party’s insurance.
