Hi, Gene Zweben from Zweben Law Group here to give you a little bit of information about what happens after an accident and how your attorney will get paid if you hire one to pursue your damages for you. Typically, in Florida, and what we do here at Zweben Law Group is work on a contingency fee. That means that you don’t pay any money at all unless we get money for you. That includes the cost that were going to have to spend out of our pocket to try to pursue your claim and build your case against the at-fault party. So basically during the case you’re not going to have to pay hourly, you don’t have to pay to talk to us, and you don’t have to pay for any conferences. All of that is a percentage of the amount we get for you at the end of the case so there is no risk involved for you and you don’t have to come out of pocket for any money unless that money is collected at the end.
