Associate Attorney

Kailee Deckard is an associate attorney at Zweben Law Group. She has worked in the legal field on the Treasure Coast since 2015, first as a paralegal and now as an attorney. Her practice is grounded in a strong commitment to advocating for individuals and guiding clients through challenging and often life-changing legal difficulties.

Ms. Deckard represents clients in personal injury cases, helping individuals who have been harmed due to the negligence of others pursue the compensation they need after suffering serious injuries, costly medical bills and other serious consequences. She is dedicated to standing up to large insurance companies and protecting her clients’ interests throughout every stage of the claims process and, when necessary, in the courtroom.

In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Deckard assists families in preparing for the future through thoughtfully crafted, comprehensive estate planning tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. She approaches estate planning with care and precision, ensuring clients feel secure about the plans they put in place for themselves and their loved ones.

Ms. Deckard also practices criminal defense, where she is committed to protecting the constitutional rights of the accused in serious misdemeanor and felony cases. She has experience representing clients in jury trials and understands the strategy and preparation required to effectively advocate before a jury and in each step of a criminal case. She understands the serious consequences criminal charges can carry and works diligently to provide strategic, attentive representation to each client. 

A lifelong resident of Martin County, Ms. Deckard has deep ties to the community she serves. Her years working in the legal field on the Treasure Coast have allowed her to develop meaningful professional relationships and a thorough understanding of the local legal landscape.

Ms. Deckard earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude (top 10% of her class), from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law in 2023. During law school, she served as an Executive Editor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and interned for a Florida State Circuit Court Judge and the Public Defender’s Office for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit. She also earned CALI Book Awards in Advanced Legal Writing, Appellate Advocacy, and Seminar in Environmental Law and Policy.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Deckard enjoys spending time with her family and staying active. A Florida native, she appreciates the outdoors and especially enjoys time by the sea.
